We focus on helping low-income women improve their education and launch their careers in a field that leads to greater financial stability. Babysitting is provided on-site while moms are in class.

Food Service Career Pathways Training Program
This program is designed to help participants achieve their “ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification” so they are able to work in the food industry. Training is done in small groups and includes classroom training and a four week paid internship. The curriculum includes the “Bring Your A Game to Work,’’ program that is focused on personal and career motivation and academic tutoring in basic math and reading skills.

English Literacy & Social Integration Classes
The Jubilee House provides English literacy classes and social integration services to low-income residents, especially immigrants and refugees, to acquire employment, achieve self-sufficiency, sustain independence, and become active citizens. They help Refugee Assistance clients and hosts ESOL classes and the building is home to women transitioning from shelter to independent living.
